Terms of use
This site is educational material only, not advice and not an offer, and trading gold CFDs carries a high risk of loss.
Educational material, not advice
Everything on this site is educational material, not advice and not an offer to buy or sell any instrument. We do not know your circumstances, and nothing here is a personal recommendation. A worked example, such as the roughly $85.50 margin needed for a 0.10-lot gold position at 1:500 on standard forex accounts, within DFSA/SCA-compliant limits, varies by instrument, illustrates the arithmetic and is not a suggestion to take that position.
Leverage is a cap, not a setting to aim at, and using more of it increases the speed at which a loss can arrive. One standard lot of gold is 100 oz and one pip is 0.01, so small price moves translate into large changes in the value of a position. Readers should size positions to what they can afford to lose, not to the maximum the account allows.
Risk of loss with gold CFDs
CFDs on gold carry a high risk of loss, and most retail accounts lose money. A CFD is a leveraged contract, so a move against the position can lose more than the amount set aside for it, and a stop does not guarantee a fill at the chosen price in fast markets. Past performance and worked examples do not indicate future results.
This site does not promise a return, a strategy that works, or a way to avoid losses. If you are considering trading, use money you can afford to lose, and treat any figure here as an illustration rather than a forecast. If trading is affecting your finances or your wellbeing, stop and seek qualified help.
Changes to these terms are published on this page with a new revision date
Changes to these terms are published on this page, and the revised version takes effect when it is posted. We do not rely on email notice to change the terms for all readers, because the site is public and the terms need to be visible to anyone who uses it. When a change is material, such as a new affiliate relationship or a change to the liability section, the revision date at the top of the page is updated so you can see that the text has moved. Continuing to use the site after a revision means you accept the revised terms.
The revision date is the single reference point for which version applies. We do not keep a public archive of every past version, so if you need to know what the terms said on a particular date, you should save a copy when you rely on them. A change to a number in an example, such as the reference price of 4275.0 or the margin figure for a 0.10-lot position, is treated as a content update rather than a change to the legal terms, and it may happen without a revision-date change. The legal sections, including liability, governing law, and affiliate disclosure, are the ones the revision date tracks.
No change to these terms applies retroactively to a dispute that arose before the revision was posted. If a term changes, the version in force at the time of the relevant use is the version that governs that use. We aim to keep the terms short and stable, and we do not rewrite them to match every market move. Where a change is required by law, the revised term applies from the date the law requires, even if the page is updated later. If you do not accept a revised term, your option is to stop using the site; the educational material remains available to read.
The law governing these terms is the law of the United Arab Emirates
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. If a dispute arises between you and Hatta Copy about the use of this site, it is dealt with under UAE law, and the courts of the UAE have jurisdiction. This choice of law applies to the informational service this site provides, not to your trading account with a broker. A broker account is governed by the broker's own client agreement and by the rules of its regulator. For FxPro, the UAE-serving entity is FxPro Global Markets MENA Ltd., and FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA, so the regulatory framework around your account is separate from the framework around this site.
The site is written for readers in the UAE, and the local context is deliberate: amounts are discussed with the AED symbol where a local currency reference helps, and local funding methods such as cards, bank transfer, and e-wallets are described because they are how UAE readers typically move money. That local framing does not mean the site is authorised or supervised by the DFSA or the SCA. Hatta Copy is a publisher, not a licensed financial firm. If you are reading from outside the UAE, you are responsible for checking whether the content is appropriate for your own jurisdiction before you rely on it.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable under UAE law, the remaining parts continue to apply. The terms are written in English, and the English version is the one that governs. A translation, if one is ever provided, is for convenience only. Nothing in this clause changes the risk warnings elsewhere on the site: gold CFDs can move against you quickly, leverage is a cap rather than a target, and you should not trade with money you cannot afford to lose. The governing-law clause settles which legal system applies; it does not reduce the market risk you take.
Hatta Copy publishes information about gold trading, not personal financial advice
Hatta Copy is an information publisher. The material on this site explains how gold (XAU/USD) CFDs work, how margin and pip values are calculated, and how costs are structured, but it does not tell you what to buy or sell. Nothing here is a recommendation, a solicitation, or a personal suitability assessment. If you need advice tailored to your income, tax position, or goals, speak to a licensed adviser in the UAE. The site is written for readers who want to understand the mechanics before they act, not for readers looking for a signal to follow.
The site is not a broker, a fund, or a portfolio manager. It does not hold client money, place orders, or manage positions on anyone's behalf. When you open a gold CFD position, your counterparty is the broker you choose, not Hatta Copy. Any account, funding, leverage, or withdrawal decision is between you and that broker. Hatta Copy does not verify your identity, assess your experience, or approve you for any product. Those steps belong to the regulated firm that opens your account, and its own terms and regulator rules apply to that relationship.
The site is not a record of live prices or a trading terminal. The reference price shown in examples, such as 4275.0 for XAU/USD, is an illustrative anchor for explaining pip and margin arithmetic, not a live quote. A pip on gold is 0.01 and one standard lot is 100 oz, and those conventions are used to show how a move or a margin requirement is calculated. Actual prices, spreads, and available leverage depend on your broker and the market at the moment you trade. Treat every number here as a teaching figure, not an executable one.
The affiliate relationship behind links to FxPro is disclosed in full
Hatta Copy has an affiliate relationship with FxPro. If you click a link to FxPro from this site and open an account, Hatta Copy may receive a payment from FxPro. That payment does not change the price you pay, and it does not change the spreads, commissions, or swaps on your account. The arrangement is a referral fee, not a share of your losses or your trading volume. We state it plainly so you can weigh the source of the recommendation before you act on it, and so the commercial interest behind a link is never hidden.
The affiliate relationship does not make Hatta Copy an agent of FxPro, and it does not make FxPro responsible for this site's content. FxPro Global Markets MENA Ltd. is the entity that serves the UAE, and FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA. Those facts describe the broker, not this site. Hatta Copy does not control FxPro's platform, pricing, execution, or withdrawal process. If a link leads you to FxPro, the account terms you agree to are FxPro's terms, and any dispute about that account is between you and FxPro under its own complaint and regulatory channels.
You are not obliged to use any affiliate link on this site. The educational material stands on its own, and you can open an account directly with FxPro or with any other firm without affecting what you read here. We do not rank brokers by the size of a referral payment, and we do not present a paid link as an independent review. Where a page discusses FxPro, it does so because the broker is relevant to the UAE reader, and the affiliate disclosure is placed so that you see it before you click. If a commercial relationship ever conflicts with accuracy, accuracy takes priority.
What you can expect from Hatta Copy and what remains your responsibility
You can expect Hatta Copy to explain gold CFD mechanics accurately and to disclose its commercial relationships. You can expect worked examples that use the conventions stated on the site: one standard lot equals 100 oz, one pip equals 0.01, and the reference price is an illustrative 4275.0. You can expect the regulator caveat to be stated as given: FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA, and FxPro Global Markets MENA Ltd. is the entity serving the UAE. You can expect the site to describe costs in terms of what they consist of and what they depend on, rather than promising a particular spread or commission.
What remains your responsibility is the decision to trade and the account you open. You choose the broker, you agree to its client agreement, you fund the account through the methods it supports, and you set the position size. Leverage of up to 1:500 on standard forex accounts within DFSA/SCA-compliant limits is a cap, not a target, and it varies by instrument; using the maximum available is a choice you make, not a default the site recommends. You are responsible for confirming live prices, spreads, and margin requirements with your broker before you place an order, and for understanding that a gold CFD can lose more than you expect.
You are also responsible for your own record-keeping and for meeting any tax or reporting obligation that applies to you in the UAE. Hatta Copy does not provide tax advice and does not report your trading activity to any authority. If you use local UAE bank transfer or a card to fund an account, the timing and any fees are set by your bank and the broker, not by this site. The site's role ends at explanation. The trade, the risk, and the consequences sit with you, and the educational material is designed to help you understand them before you commit money.
Limits of liability are capped at the law allows and exclude trading losses
Hatta Copy is not liable for trading losses. Gold CFDs are high-risk products, and the money you lose in the market is your loss, not a liability of this site. The educational material is provided as-is, and we do not warrant that it is complete, current, or suitable for your circumstances. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hatta Copy excludes liability for any direct or indirect loss arising from your use of the site, including lost profits, lost opportunity, or losses caused by reliance on a worked example such as the margin figure for a 0.10-lot gold position.
Liability for errors in the content is limited to correcting the content. If a figure, formula, or explanation on this site is wrong, our responsibility is to correct it when it is brought to our attention. We do not undertake to compensate you for a trade you placed on the basis of an outdated or mistaken page. Figures such as the reference price of 4275.0, the pip value of 0.01, and the contract size of 100 oz are teaching inputs, and you should confirm live values with your broker before you trade. The site does not execute orders, so it cannot cause a fill or a rejection.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. The limits above apply only to the extent the law allows. Hatta Copy also does not control third-party sites it links to, including broker sites, and is not responsible for their content, availability, or security. If a link is broken or a third party changes its terms, that is outside this site's control. Your use of a third-party site is governed by that site's own terms and privacy practices.
Dated figures and affiliate links
Figures on this site are dated snapshots read from the broker's own documents, and they must be verified with the broker before you act. Costs, funding routes and terms can change after the date we read them, and the broker's live documents are the source that applies. The regulator statement we rely on is that FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA.
Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means the reader's relationship is with the broker, not with Hatta Copy. The account, the money and the dispute are between you and the broker, and the broker's terms and privacy policy govern them. We are not a broker, a bank or a licensed adviser, and we do not hold or handle client funds.
