Contact the Hatta Copy desk
There is one editorial mailbox, [email protected], and it reaches the people who write and check these pages.
The one mailbox we use
[email protected] is the only address the desk uses for editorial contact. Write there for a correction, a source you think we missed, or a question about how a page was put together. We read the mailbox ourselves, and we do not promise a response time in hours or days.
Please include the page address and the exact sentence you are writing about. A short, specific note is easier to act on than a general complaint, and it lets us check the point against the broker's documents rather than guessing at what you meant.
The details that make a message answerable in one reply
A useful message contains the page address or the exact topic, the platform if one is involved, the instrument code XAU/USD where relevant, the lot size, the timestamp in UAE time, and a screenshot that is not cropped past the point of use. It also states the question in one sentence at the top. That single sentence is what lets a reply happen without a round of what exactly do you mean, and it is the detail most often missing.
For gold questions, say whether you mean 1 standard lot of 100 oz or a fraction such as 0.10 lots, and remember one pip is 0.01. A message that says the price moved strangely without saying which size and which platform cannot be checked, because the same move looks different at different sizes. The reference price near 4275.0 is a starting point, not a fixed quote, so name the time you saw your figure rather than assuming we saw the same one.
For funding questions, name the method from the supported list, the currency including AED where that applies, and the date. Never send passwords, full card numbers or one-time codes; no answer requires them and their presence in a mailbox is a risk to you. A masked screenshot showing the amount and the status is enough. If your message contains any of those sensitive items, delete and resend without them before expecting a reply.
How a correction request is handled from receipt to published fix
A correction request is logged, checked against the published text, and either fixed or explained. Send the page address, the exact sentence you believe is wrong, and the source or calculation that shows why. If the point is a figure, show the arithmetic. If it is a definition, quote the passage. We compare your note with what the page actually says before changing anything, because a correction that misreads the original creates a second error.
If the page is wrong, it is corrected in the text and the change stands on its own; we do not leave a corrected sentence in place with a caveat bolted on. If the page is right and the note misread it, we reply with the reasoning. If the point is genuinely a matter of interpretation rather than fact, we say so rather than pretending there is one right answer. Corrections are about accuracy, not about winning the exchange.
Corrections are prioritised above general questions because a wrong figure on a live page misleads every reader who lands on it, while a general question affects one person. That is the whole reason for the separate track. It does not mean instant turnaround, but it does mean a correction request does not sit behind a queue of pricing questions. Send it as a correction in the subject line so it is routed correctly on arrival.
Where the desk stops: no personal trading advice and no account instructions
We can explain how a mechanic works, what a term means and where a figure comes from, but we cannot tell you whether to buy or sell gold, what lot size fits your situation, or how to manage an open position. That is personal trading advice and it depends on your finances, your risk tolerance and your time horizon, none of which we hold. Anything that starts with what should I do is outside what this desk answers.
We can answer factual questions about the instrument and the platform, including how margin is calculated. At the maximum leverage available in the UAE, which is up to 1:500 on standard forex accounts within DFSA/SCA-compliant limits and varies by instrument, a 0.10-lot gold position needs about $85.50 margin. We can walk through that arithmetic. We cannot decide whether that position size is right for you, because leverage is a cap and not a setting to aim at.
We can point you to the regulator caveat that applies here: FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA. We cannot interpret that for your personal tax or legal position in the UAE. Questions about your own circumstances belong with a licensed adviser who can see your full picture. Sending them here will get a plain statement that the question is outside our scope, not a guess dressed up as guidance.
What this desk cannot do and where account, funding and advice issues actually go
This desk cannot access an account, reset a password, release a withdrawal, reverse a transfer or recover funds. It has no view of any client account and no ability to act on one. Those requests go to the broker directly through its own support channel, because only the firm holding the account can see the records and take action. Sending them here delays the only route that can actually resolve them, which is why they are redirected rather than answered.
For account access and funding problems, contact FxPro through its official support channels. The entity that serves the UAE is FxPro Global Markets MENA Ltd., and the regulator caveat that applies is that FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA. Keep your correspondence with that support channel, because it is the record that matters if a dispute arises. This mailbox cannot escalate, expedite or intervene in any account matter, and saying otherwise would be false.
For personal trading advice, the correct destination is a licensed adviser who can see your finances and your goals, not a general mailbox. For a dispute that support has not resolved, the route is the firm's formal complaints process and then the relevant regulator; the caveat above names the licences that apply. This desk explains mechanics and corrects published text. It does not sit inside any of those processes and cannot act as an intermediary in them.
What the desk will help with
We will help with the published material: explaining how a figure was calculated, pointing to the document a statement came from, and correcting a page when it is wrong. We can also explain the instrument facts we use, such as one standard lot of gold being 100 oz and one pip being 0.01, because those are the building blocks of every example on the site.
We will not help with account problems, and we cannot chase a broker, intervene in a dispute or attempt fund recovery. We are not a broker, a bank or a licensed adviser, so we cannot give personal advice on whether to trade, how much to risk, or which account suits you. Those questions belong with the broker and, where relevant, with the regulator named in its documents.
What to include when you write about gold pricing, spreads or platform mechanics
For a pricing or spread question, send the instrument code, the platform, the exact timestamp in UAE time, and a screenshot of the quote or ticket. State whether you mean XAU/USD and whether the position was 0.10 lots or another size. Without the timestamp and platform we cannot match your observation to anything, because pricing is streamed and varies by venue and session. One message with the screenshot attached is faster than a thread of follow-ups.
For platform mechanics, name MT4, MT5, cTrader or FxPro Edge and describe the step that failed. Include the order type, the lot size and the error text if one appeared. For gold, remember 1 standard lot is 100 oz and one pip is 0.01, so a 0.10-lot position moves in smaller increments than a full lot. Saying which of those you traded removes the most common source of confusion before we reply.
For funding questions, state the method you used from the supported list: cards, bank transfer or e-wallets, and whether it was a local UAE bank transfer. Give the currency, which may be AED, and the date. Do not send full card numbers or passwords. A masked screenshot showing the amount and status is enough for us to explain what the desk can and cannot see on its side.
What response time to expect and what changes it
Expect a reply within a few working days, not within minutes. The desk is small and messages are read in the order they arrive, with UAE working days as the baseline. A message that arrives on a Friday or a public holiday starts its clock on the next working day. If you need a live answer on an open position, this mailbox is the wrong channel, because nothing here is a real-time support line.
Response time depends on what you send. A question with the platform, timestamp, lot size and a screenshot can be answered in one pass. A question missing those details needs a follow-up before any answer is possible, which adds a full round trip. Questions about pricing on XAU/USD or about a specific order are the ones most often slowed down by a missing timestamp or a cropped screenshot.
Correction requests are handled on a separate track and are prioritised over general questions, so a factual error in a published page is looked at first. General questions about mechanics wait behind them. We do not promise a fixed number of hours for either, because volume varies. What we do commit to is that every message gets a reply, even when the reply is that we cannot answer it and here is where it should go instead.
No guest posts, no sponsored reviews, no paid placement
The desk does not accept guest posts, sponsored reviews or paid placement at any price. If you are offered a review, a link insertion or a mention in exchange for payment, it did not come from us, and you should treat it as unrelated to this site. Affiliate links are the only revenue, and they do not buy coverage.
This rule exists so that a reader can tell the difference between a page we chose to write and a page someone paid to place. It also means we sometimes decline work that would be easy to accept. If a broker or an agency approaches us with a commercial offer, the answer is no, and the pages stay as the checks left them.
Trade gold with FxPro from the UAE
FxPro gives UAE traders MT4, MT5, cTrader and FxPro Edge for XAU/USD, with funding by card, bank transfer or e-wallet, including local UAE bank transfer. FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA, and leverage is capped at up to 1:500 on standard forex accounts within DFSA/SCA-compliant limits, so size each position with that cap in mind.
